As a consortium partner of IBM, we participated in the tender for the “provision of development services, data centre infrastructure, system hardware and software within the framework of the introduction of the e-prescription”. Within a central European specialist service, all e-prescriptions from doctors are stored in encrypted form and then loaded into e-prescription apps and pharmacy inventory control systems.

We are supporting IBM in providing the necessary infrastructure as well as the operation and support of the hardware and software components. All digital prescriptions in Germany are planned to be processed and managed via the specialist e-prescription service in the future. Also, further expansion options are planned.
